We’re located at the gateway to the scenic Cooks Cove Walkway and right beside Tolaga Bay’s iconic wharf — the longest in the southern hemisphere at 660 metres.

Booking Terms & Conditions

Booking Policies

The following booking conditions apply to reservations at Tolaga Bay TOP 10 Holiday Park.

Occupancy Limits

Each accommodation type has a maximum occupancy as listed on the website. This includes infants (under 2 years) and cannot be exceeded under any circumstances. Age categories: Infants are under 2 years old, and children are 2–14 years old.

Minimum Stay Requirements

Minimum stay requirements vary depending on public holiday weekends, peak periods, and seasonal demand. Please refer to the specific booking dates for applicable minimum stay conditions.

Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in time: Between 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM (standard hours) or 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM during Christmas/Summer hours. Check-out time: By 10:00 AM daily.

Guests arriving after reception hours must contact Tolaga Bay TOP 10 Holiday Park at least 24 hours in advance to arrange for a late check-in. All payments, including any required deposits, must be settled prior to arrival.

Rates & Payments

A deposit equal to the first night’s accommodation is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. Any remaining balance must be paid on or before arrival.
For high season bookings, the balance of your stay must be paid in full no later than 7 days prior to arrival.

Our rates are reviewed annually and are subject to change without prior notice. Prices are confirmed at the time of booking.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS, and Bank Transfer payments. A 2% surcharge applies to all credit card transactions.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to arrival to receive a refund, less a $20 NZD administration fee.
For cancellations made within 7 days of arrival, deposits are non-refundable.

If the park is fully booked and a late cancellation is made (within 7 days), the manager reserves the right to charge for any portion of the booking that cannot be re-sold.

For reservations made through Online Travel Agents (OTAs) or third-party websites, please refer to the cancellation policy provided by your booking agent.

Guests are responsible for the full cost of their confirmed stay. No refunds will be given for early departures, late arrivals, or cancellations due to weather or other natural conditions beyond our control.

Confirmation of Booking

A confirmation email with booking details will be sent within 24 hours of making a reservation.

Identification and Security

Guests must present valid photo identification (passport for international guests) and a credit card upon arrival. The name on the photo ID must match the name on the credit card and the reservation. The lead guest is responsible for any damage caused during the stay, which may be charged to the credit card on file.

Guest Conduct

As a family friendly holiday park, we expect all guests to be respectful and considerate of others at all times. Quiet hours are from 10pm and 7am. During this time, noise must be kept to a minimum. Excessive noise, alcohol consumption or antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in immediate cancellation of your reservation without reimbursement.

Visitors 

Visitors are welcome to the park but must leave their vehicles in the parking area outside the park. All visitors are at the sole discretion of the management.

Visitors are required to report to reception on arrival and wear an armband when onsite. Please do not be offended if visitors who do not register at the reception are asked to leave the park. This is for residents’ security and enjoyment of park facilities.

Fireworks/BBQs

Only Gas BBQs are allowed in the park. Please make sure all BBQs are safe for use and gas is turned off after use. Strictly no open wood or charcoal fires. Fireworks are not permitted in the Park.

Liability

While Tolaga Bay TOP 10 Holiday Park strives to ensure the accuracy of website information, we cannot guarantee the site is free from errors. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss resulting from the use of our website or products/services purchased through it.

Dog Policy

Dogs are permitted on powered and non-powered camping sites with prior approval only.

A fee of $5 per dog, per night applies.

If you arrive at the park without prior approval, entry may be refused, and no refund will be given.

Dog Stay Availability

Dogs allowed:
– After Waitangi Weekend to 24 December
– Kings Birthday Weekend and Matariki Weekend

Dogs NOT allowed:
– Easter, ANZAC & Labour Weekends
– From 24 December to the end of Waitangi Weekend

Dog Rules

  • Dogs must be registered and vaccinated.
  • Dogs are only permitted on dedicated dog-friendly powered and non-powered sites.
  • Dogs are not allowed in any guest accommodation – no exceptions.
  • Owners must notify reception upon arrival if they have a dog on-site.
  • Dogs must be of a friendly nature and not disturb other guests.
  • Dogs must be tied up or on a leash at all times.
  • Wandering dogs (and their owners) may be asked to leave the park.
  • Please immediately clean up after your dog.
  • Dogs are not allowed inside amenity blocks, kitchens, or communal BBQ areas.
  • A cleaning fee will apply if a dog is found inside any accommodation unit.

Privacy Policy

Tolaga Bay TOP 10 Holiday Park is committed to protecting your privacy and to developing technology that gives you the most powerful and secure online experience. You can travel through most of our site without giving us any information about yourself. But sometimes we do need information to provide services that you request, and this statement of privacy explains data collection and use in those situations. Your Personal Information

We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you (personal information) or allows us to contact you. Generally, this information is requested when you are asked to register before ordering e-mail newsletters, joining a limited-access premium site, or when purchasing. When you register or give us personal information when making a reservation with us, it will be held on the TOP 10 Holiday Park Group central database. Your personal details will then be able to be accessed by TOP 10 Holiday Park Central office and other TOP 10 Holiday parks if you are making a reservation with them. Tolaga Bay TOP 10 Holiday Park will not, except as required by law, share this information with any other third parties without your permission. If you purchase a TOP 10 Membership Card all of the Conditions of the Card will apply.
